These records include subject files and correspondence for the American Live Stock Association, Southern Live Stock, the American National Cattlemen's Association, and the National Live Stock and Meat Board; livestock legislation including Live Stock Tax and the Packers and Stockyards Act; lists of Association officers; information concerning memorial tablets, trophies, and rewards; a 1954 resolution stating the Associations' position in regard to segregation; and a wide variety of newsletters, annual meeting notes, and other printed materials. The financial records include accounts, cancelled checks, and correspondence with various companies.
